Welcome to The Little Imagination Company. We are a small, independent family business offering original children’s books, illustrated stories, autobiographical books and, in the future, a selection of gifts.
These terms explain how purchases from our website work. By placing an order, you agree to these terms, which do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

2. Our products
We take care to describe and illustrate our products accurately.
Our books feature original stories, illustrations and artwork. Occasionally, minor differences may occur between photographs displayed on the website and the printed product, particularly in colour reproduction.
Product descriptions will identify the relevant format, such as paperback or hardback.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).
The total cost, including applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you confirm your purchase.
Payments are processed securely through the payment services available at checkout. We do not receive or store your complete payment card details.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors. If an error affects an order, we will contact you before proceeding.
4. Orders
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement by email.
We may contact you if a product is unavailable or there is a problem fulfilling your order. If we cannot supply an item you have paid for, we will offer a refund.
5. Delivery
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom.
Our standard delivery charges are:
- One book: £3.00
- Two or more books in the same order: £4.50 total
Any different delivery charges for future products will be displayed at checkout.
We aim to dispatch orders promptly and will advise customers of any significant delay. Any delivery estimate shown at checkout is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
6. Cancellations and returns
For most products purchased online, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Our full arrangements for cancellations, returns, refunds and faulty goods are explained in our Refund and Returns Policy, available on this website.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
7. Damaged, faulty or incorrect goods
If your order arrives damaged, is faulty or is not what you ordered, please contact us at r.westrip@sky.com, quoting your order number and describing the problem.
We will work with you to resolve the matter in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
8. Copyright and original artwork
The stories, illustrations, photographs, ceramic character designs, written material and other original creative content displayed on this website are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property rights.
Purchasing a book or product does not transfer ownership of those rights.
Please do not reproduce or commercially use our original content without permission.
9. Website information
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date.
We may update product information, availability and prices from time to time. Changes will not retrospectively alter an order already accepted without your agreement.
10. Personal information
We use customer information to process orders, arrange delivery, provide customer support and meet applicable legal obligations.
